SlumberCare™ opened its manufacturing operation in Muriel Street, Bayswater on the 6th November 1995, with a total of five people including the owners, Linda and Stuart Gardiner.

Our aim was to produce eight beds a day. Our objective was to offer, in every aspect, a betterand more personalised service above that of any other bedding manufacturer in Australia.

The concept proved successful and product demand increased in dramatic proportions.

In December 1996, SlumberCare™ moved round the corner to Raymond Avenue, Bayswater where the available factory space doubled that of Muriel Street.

As orders continued to escalate at an unprecedented rate, we decided to build our own factory premises in Radium Street, Welshpool. The move to this location took place in June, 2000.Today, after three building extensions, SlumberCare™ now operates from 2 factories that exceed 15,000 sq. metres in size, and produce over 400 pieces of bedding every working day.
